Sustainable development, “a development’s model that meets the needs of present generations without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs”, is aimed at all citizens and is based on 3 pillars: economic, social and environmental. environment. For large companies, there is a legal obligation to publish a CSR report.

For TCN, this is a voluntary approach initiated by our management and involving all employees. TCN has about ten employees who formulate, manufacture and market coloring preparations for the dyeing of plastic parts as well as polishing pastes. We are therefore fully committed to exercising our profession while being aware of our responsibilities and wanting to act at our level.

Thus, TCN, in close collaboration with its stakeholders, integrates social, economic, environmental and human concerns into its mode of operation. It constantly interacts in order to identify, prevent and mitigate the potential negative effects it could cause. In the 2022/2023 CSR report, we present our commitment to sustainable development around our products and services for coloring all types of plastic material as well as polishing.

Our dyes can be applied to polyamide, PC, PVA, PLA, TPU, polyurethane, acrylic, polycarbonate, PMMA, polyester, epoxy or even ABS.

The main applications are:

• Tinting of uncoated organic lenses: CR-39® lenses, polycarbonate lenses, polyamide lenses, high-index organic lenses,
• Coloring of 3D printed parts for most plastic materials: PA11, PA12, filled polyamide, polyurethane, elastomer, acrylic, polyester, TPU, PEEK, ABS, PEI
• Coloring of parts from additive manufacturing for most technologies: SLS, SLA, FDM, MJF, injection, molding,…
• Polishing spectacle frames,
• Dyeing polyester Buttons,
• Dyeing of garment accessories such as ribbon, lace…
• Coloring of hair ornaments,
• Coloring of polyamide spectacle frames,
• …

We conduct an annual review of stakeholder expectations and their satisfaction, as well as an annual assessment of our internal and external challenges. This approach allows us to identify the weak or strong signals likely to influence our development. It also makes it possible to identify the actions to be implemented in order to reduce the company’s exposure to these risks and better understand them.
