Polishing Cellulose Acetate Eyewear Frames

For over 60 years, TCN has been refining its paste formulas for the dry barrel polishing process.

Our pastes are now available in an eco-friendly version, made with bio-based solvents.
Our polishing process includes three standard steps and one optional step:

  • Right after CNC cutting in an acetate lab, our abrasive paste 8622 is used for deburring.
  • The second sanding step is performed with our ECO C600 paste.
  • The third polishing step is achieved with base 605, complemented by ECO 605+ paste for a perfect finish.
  • The fourth step is optional, depending on the desired final shine. Our BS3208 polishing paste contains self-glossing vegetable waxes to achieve the desired shine

Our varied range of polishing sticks, made of nylon and wood, is available in several shapes and sizes to meet all your needs. Our nylon sticks are ideal for sanding, while our pointed, diamond, and cube models are perfect for polishing plastic parts at every stage of your dry polishing process, regardless of the geometry of your parts. We also offer polishing bars for wheel polishing and detergents.

Coloring Cellulose Acetate Eyewear Frames

With our cold coloring range, TACC, you can achieve and create an infinite range of solid colors or gradients by simple dipping.

Cellulose Acetate Eyewear Temples

We formulate epoxy resins designed to embellish cellulose acetate eyewear temples. Our epoxy resins are used in eyewear for the inclusion of metallic logos. This step is carried out before your barrel polishing.
